I did weights this morning. There's a great web site mentioned on the first page of the weight lifting thread in the exercise forum that gave me some great information.

Well today is Friday and I am soooooo tired! It has really been a long week, but I still made myself get up when that alarm went off at 5:15 and did my 30 minute Advanced Walk Aerobics tape again! I did not feel too perky while I was doing, but I am feeling better now.
At least I have my exercise behind me for today :smug:

Wens-50 min. walk started out only having time to do 40 minutes but it was soooooo nice out i just kept going! I can't wait for summer i think i will walk all day!
Thurs-1 hr The Firm weights -this is my plan!
Fri-40 min step tape
Saturday-1hr The frim or walk- that will give me 5 days! woo hoo (i guess 6 would be better :spinning: )

My total was 6 miles for the week. Goal was to walk three times, I managed to get in four walks. Feel great about that!

This morning 20 min. on the treadmill. I hit 1 mile around 18 minutes. I had been walking 2 miles in about 30 minutes so I've still got some work to do to get back up to where I was before getting sick.
I found that if I move the speed around every minute or so I can get my speed up a little quicker. I go from 3.2 to 4 to 3.4 to 3.8 to 3.6 and then trying to go back down to 3.2 feels too slow!
My weightlifting is pretty weak, I hope to be able to add more weights soon!
Tuesday: Walked 2 miles
Gonna try to walk more next week. Don't know yet. Depends on how my knee feels.
Good Morning girls! I FEEL GREAT!
After walking at the mall yesterday for 45 minutes during my lunchhour, when I got back to office I was DAMP (we southern girls don't sweat) from the top of my head to the tip of my toes and I felt sooooooooo yucky. So I decided that I would get up early this morning and get my exercise in before getting ready for work.
So last night I got everything ready (put the tape in the vcr, put out the shoes and the sports bra) and set my alarm for 5:15.
When the alarm went off this morning I rolled myself out of bed and did 30 minutes of Walk Aerobics in my living room! I feel great and I'm really glad to have my exercise behind me for the day!
I have already had 40 oz of water too!

I am fixing to put on my tennis shoes and go walk for 45 minutes at the mall during my lunchhour!
The humidity must be about 200% today so I'm sure my naturally curly hair will look like a great big old SOS pad when I get back - oh the sacrifices we make! hehe
