Think this is a good birthday card/poem?

  • Don't mind my crappy writing skills, or that it doesn't consistently rhyme... I don't do it often, but this is for someone special, if you cant tell. Just let me know if you like it or if there is anything obvious I can do to make it better.


    Friends can be good, and friends can be bad
    Some make you happy, and some make you mad

    All through my life, I've had many friends
    Some better than others, some closer than most.

    Of all of those friends, You've been the best of the best
    Always there to listen and care, you've out done the rest

    Through the good and the bad, the twists and the turns
    You've been there for me, and I've never had to ask

    I haven't known you long, but it seems like forever
    And if I have it my way, forever friends we will stay

    I just want to thank you, for being yourself
    It's because of your care, my best friend you are!
