The hunger finally gets ahold of you
You give into your will and find some food
The food goes down your throat...then so does your finger
Such is the life of a bulimic
Darkness and despair gripping every inch of your body
The razorblade calls out to you
One more scar won't hurt, right?
Such is the life of a cutter
The gun is there, loaded and everything
As if god put it there just for you
I don't matter, right? A trigger is pulled
Such is the life of a suicidal
This could have been a girl you know.
Society told her to be skinny
So she starved herself
Such is the life of a misguided soul
Her mind told her she was sad
So she hurt herself
Hunny, she completely destroyed herself
Such is the life of a lonely soul
Everybody told her she was worthless
They screamed it at her
So she took that gun and made it her doom
Such is the life of a teenager

I think the hardest thing to do is to step in and help a person in any of these situations. I personally have gotten involved.
